Coaching is distinct from both therapy and counseling in so far as it focuses on specific, goal-oriented outcomes, but does not attempt to treat or remedy mental illness or emotional disturbance.
Coaching gives couples new tools and helps them apply those tools to achieve the marriage they want. Roughly 30% of couples who come to His and Hers Couples Coaching have considered divorce. An overwhelming majority decide not to divorce after completing our couples coaching program. If at any point we feel a couple needs more support we can transition to counseling or make a referral to a reputable resource if a situation is not “coachable.”

Marriage Coaching creates a partnership between the coaches and the couples they coach. Coaches are experts on the process; couples are experts on their relationship and ultimately have the answers.

We work with couples from all walks of life who are struggling with challenges related to intimacy, communication, infidelity and betrayal of trust. We use a blend of Biblically grounded principles, as well as evidenced based practices. We are firm believers that marriage is a covenant relationship ordained by God and is the most important relationship - second only to your relationship with HIM. We believe marriage must always be priority one in order to be healthy and successful. We also agree that each marriage is different, we meet you where you are to help cultivate change and authentic growth.
Our Married To The Max! method was born out of blood, sweat, tears and ALOT of prayer! We share our own marriage struggles and are not ashamed to say “you are not alone!” We candidly discuss the highs and lows of marriage in a real and relatable way.
We integrate what we've learned from our personal healing journey with formal training and over 3 decades of professional experience as relationship coaches and licensed therapists to help couples create happy, whole, thriving relationships. We’re committed to offering hope and help to other couples any way we can.

The “Before I let Go” and Marriage Restoration Weekends are two day intensive retreats designed for couples who are in significant crisis. If there has been infidelity, a separation, abuse, or the real possibility of divorce this is the best option for you.
Whatever the life altering crisis is in your marriage, we will utilize our intensive holistic method to get your relationship on the road to healing and restoration.
These powerful two day intensive retreats are equivalent to 5 - 6 months of traditional counseling and we provide everything you need to get the most out of the weekend. It has been especially designed for couples who want to make one final genuine effort to restore or enrich their marriage.
